Who we are
ESSEC Moments is the photo and video student association of ESSEC Business School, Africa campus. Contact: essecmoments@gmail.com.
What we collect
If you create a student account: your ESSEC email address, your ESSEC student number (B00) and a password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider). For partner associations: the association name and the representative’s name and email. If you use our forms: the details you enter (name, email, association, message or reason, and an optional screenshot on the removal form). Event photos and videos may show people who attended our events.
Why
To verify that student accounts belong to ESSEC students, to check your B00 against the association’s photo-consent list — the list of students who completed our photo-consent process, managed by our co-presidents — before your account is confirmed, to give each audience access only to the photos and videos meant for it, to answer access requests, and to handle photo removal requests.
Where it is stored
The website runs on Cloudflare. Accounts and site data are stored with Supabase in the European Union (Paris). Photos and videos are stored in the association’s Google Drive. We do not sell data, show ads or use tracking cookies. Signing in stores a session token in your browser.
How long
Student access to event albums ends one year after each event. Accounts are kept until you ask us to delete them. Form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle them.
Your rights and your image
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to have a photo of you removed, by writing to essecmoments@gmail.com or using the removal form on the Contact page. Removed photos disappear from the website; we cannot recall copies that were already downloaded.
